The Project by Ivana Franke and the Jeanne Fremaux group probes the possibilites of spatial relations by changing the viewer’s perception. The installation was instigated by mathematical and geometrical relations tackling light and sound limits and their mutual relation.
Ivana Franke was born in Zagreb 1973. Graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts Zagreb. Study visits; 2001/2002 Center for Contemporary Art Kitakyushu (CCAK), Kitakyushu, Japan, research program; 2004 Nordic Institute for Contemporary Art (NIFCA), Helsinki, residency program; 2001 P.S.1 Contemporary Art Center, New York, special projects program; 1998 Artist in residence, Mino, Japan. Had numerous solo and group exhibitions nationally and internationally.
