The segment of an atypical retrospective in the space of Pogon Jedinstvo will present recent works (graphics, drawings, catalogs, sculptures, films, performance documentation…) and also those created in the last fifty years by an eminent and distinctive Croatian artist. Some of the works that will be seen at the exhibition are a three-part video installation “E / I / migrant song”, films “requiem for Uljanik… Josip”, “White ligt white heat… self-portrait B.G.”, “pljastic people from univers 2.dijo … Ki vas sljivi… ”and performance “… .sensational! Atelier… ”.

Josip Pino Ivančić is an artist, performer and musician from Pula. He has been known in the alternative cultural scene since the beginning of the seventies, when he entered the circle of conceptualists and performers. At that time he created mental spirit music with his friends, and under the influence of Beuys he began the process of creating the so-called “Social sculptures”, with which he already then belonged to a small group of conceptual artists who engaged in questioning the socialist value system, primarily the meaning of work and the position of workers. From the nineties until today, he has realized a series of provocative exhibitions and performances.
